Because of this, LEGO restricted the number of components for its McLaren F1 vehicle at 1,432 – and it still looks like an actual F1 car.
When you look closely at the LEGO McLaren F1 car, you'll see that the pistons of the V6 engine actually move. There is also a functional differential, steering, and suspension. When completed, the model measures 65 centimeters by 27 centimeters. The automobile stands 13 cm tall.
The lifelike look is the result of a one-of-a-kind partnership between the McLaren F1 team and LEGO. They work together to ensure that the automobile is instantly identifiable as an F1 car, complete with the right detailing and genuine sponsor logos. Only the driver names are omitted, which may be preferable in the future.
