Casa Z by Zozaya Arquitectos
On a 500 m2 trapezoidal plot of land in one of Zihuatanejo's highest hills, Casa Z is situated. The land's surface is uneven, and the higher portion of the property has the major access. The primary goal of the project was to design a basic home with plenty of communal areas where residents could take in the surrounding scenery and environment. To take use of and respect the topography, three levels made up of two volumes are planned.
Important building materials including concrete, steel, local limestone, and bamboo are used in the structure. The home has a strong modern and tropical identity thanks to the combination of materials and regional building methods, successfully blending in with its surroundings and living in peace with the environment.
